Software and artificial intelligence for La Línea's shops
Street-level shops, hospitality and services, with a border that sets the rhythm of the day and customers who live on both sides of it. We write software for that kind of business, and we're just down the road.
How business works in La Línea

The day of a business in La Línea is set by the border gate. Some people cross into Gibraltar every morning to work and come back in the afternoon, and that decides when customers walk in, when they send a message and in which language. The same shop serves in Spanish in the morning and in English in the afternoon without leaving the counter.
It's a fabric of small, very personal businesses: whoever serves knows the customers by name, and that's half the value. The problem isn't the service, it's the scale. Everything goes through one phone, and that phone is carried by the person who is also waiting tables, cutting hair or taking payments.
When a message arrives at a bad moment it goes unanswered, and in a place where the customer has another option two streets away, an unanswered message is a lost booking.
Where it gets stuck
What holds a La Línea business back.
WhatsApp is the business — and the bottleneck
Bookings, opening hours, availability, “do you have this in my size?”. Everything comes in through the same phone and is answered by the same person, who is doing two other things. What gets answered late is lost: the customer has already asked somewhere else.
Customers ask in two languages
With Gibraltar next door, many enquiries arrive in English and have to be answered just as quickly, and in the same tone, as in Spanish. Translating by hand on your phone while there's a queue isn't a plan.
The shop window is on Instagram, not a website
Many businesses here sell through social media and WhatsApp, with nothing of their own behind it. It works until you want someone to book or buy without you being in front of the phone to deal with it.
Services
Where we'd start in La Línea.
Chatbots and conversational AI
An assistant on your WhatsApp that replies in Spanish and English at any hour, checks your real diary and confirms the booking. When the conversation gets serious, it hands it over to you.
Web development
A website that's your shop window, not a brochure: it shows what you sell, lets people book or buy, and is connected to the same assistant that answers WhatsApp.
Social media management
If your shop window is on Instagram, it should be well looked after. We handle the content and every month we tell you what worked and what didn't, with numbers and no fluff.
It isn't everything we do: these are the ones that fit best here. See all services
An example in La Línea
An example of what can be built here: a customer messages your WhatsApp at eleven at night, in English, asking if there's a slot tomorrow. The assistant checks the diary, confirms it, books it in and leaves it done. You see it in the morning over your coffee.
